How it started
"Quilltales" was born from a dream and need to create a haven to escape a world often cruel. Yet creating stories is more than a tool for pleasure, freedom, and healing. It's a calling I knew I had to follow if I craved happiness in life. So, what started as a passion project ended up growing into a full-time profession.
The inherent relationship between words and images molded this Portuguese brand of stories in both formats. Tales for readers who enjoy fiction told through words, and illustrations for art lovers who relish painted tales.
Short stories are brilliant for readers with busy lives who crave a few moments of peace outside of their minds. The ebook format eases access and excuses delivery costs. However, Quilltales knows a digital product will never replace the feeling of flipping paper so for all book lovers out there, we also designed bookmarkers for anyone in need of pausing their literary journey.

Quilltales is conscious about our environment and the impact art industry has on nature.
Recycled materials for packing and reducing the usage of plastics is our mantra.
We also give preference to environmentally conscious brands like the german brand Hahnemühle for the art prints.

Why are the ebooks less than 5€?
New authors, especially self-published lower their prices so readers gain easier access to their stories. The Portuguese version is less expensive because it didn't require translation services, unlike the English version.
How much does it cost?
Our pricing varies depending on the type of products you're planning to buy. Digital products don't require shipping, whilst physical products like art prints or bookmarkers require delivery, thus shipping costs.
